    January 31st is Souper Bowl of Caring

    If everyone who watched the Super Bowl football game donated one dollar to charity, millions of dollars would be raised.  The Souper Bowl of Caring is an annual event that works to raise awareness about poverty and homelessness in our own community. 

    This year, we will be having a competition...whoever brings the most of the following items will win an itunes gift card!

    • canned food items
    • personal hygiene items (shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toilet paper, etc)
    • blankets and jackets

    All items will be donated to the poor.  We will determine where we will donate the items during youth group.

     

    Don't forget to bring a permission slip to youth group tonight because we will be  having a scavenger hunt! (No students will be permitted to drive)

    Saturday, February 6th and Sunday, February 7th:

    Boys and girls retreat!  See the section to the right of this for details, Flyers and registration forms!  You will also need a permission slip.

     

    No Youth Group on Sunday, February 7th!

     

     

St. Anastasia Youth Group

Welcome to our youth group’s web page!  St. Anastasia Youth or SAY Amen! Is a ministry of St. Anastasia Catholic Church in St. Augustine, FL. 

Our vision at St. Anastasia is to integrate youth into the life of the parish, encouraging participation and interaction in the Mass and other parish events.  To develop the belief that each member of the parish has a responsibility to minister to the youth through their interactions with them and to create a Catholic-Christian atmosphere in which the youth can enjoy fellowship, faith growth, and a love of Jesus Christ.

A Message From Melody

Girls and Boys Retreats

Mark your calendar for Saturday and Sunday, February 6 and 7 for our annual girls retreat!  And boys, there will be a retreat for you too!

 

Melody, Elizabeth, Cynthia, Jacqueline, and Halley Alexander will be leading the girls retreat and we will be staying at Elizabeth's beach house!

Josh, Ryan, Andrew, Nick, Will, and Josh Decker will be leading the boys retreat and they will be staying at the Bosco House downtown (the Cathedral's youth house).

The Cost for this retreat will be $10 per person.  This fee helps us to pay for food and supplies.  Please let us know if you need a scholarship - we don't want you not to come because of money!


More details are coming soon, but you don't want to miss this amazing opportunity to grow closer with Christ and one another - plus it is a chance to hang out with your friends and have some fun!
